Defect mitigation
Our resin barrier products enhance the reliability and efficiency of liquid resin molding processes through the segregation of flow fronts. This enables a predictable and preferential one-shot wet-out, ensuring consistent impregnation of large or complex preforms. By improving flow management, our barriers create a more robust molding process, reducing variability and enhancing the quality of the final composite structure.
Repair
Our material solutions feature intrinsic repair mechanisms, allowing damage such as delamination, cracks, abrasions, and dents to be restored with heat and minimal pressure. These scalable repair methods can be carried out in-field or in workshops using equipment like induction heaters, heat mats, and heat guns. We work closely with our customers to develop bespoke composite solutions that can be repaired at application-specific temperatures, ensuring efficient and reliable maintenance.

Rapid and targeted heating
Our product form development has led to solutions that are readily heated via induction or resistance heating mechanisms. This allows for targeted application of heat within damaged zones, reducing repair cycle times and limiting thermal exposure. This has been shown to be particularly effective when our material solutions are deployed in discrete locations where damage is expected to occur within otherwise non-healable components.
End-of-life breakdown
The same material properties that enable repair also facilitate new end-of-life breakdown processes. These allow for the simple separation of commodity materials at the end of a products lifecycle and enable continuous structural elements to be salvaged for reuse. This approach has proven particularly effective when our material solutions are applied at the interfaces of otherwise non-healable composite assemblies.

Multi-matrix & multi-fibre processing
Our resin products are compatible with other epoxy systems on the market and can be used alongside them to enhance repair, rework, and reclamation functionality. Furthermore, our resin films and prepregs can be used to segregate flow fronts within liquid resin moulding processes. This segregation enables predictable and preferential one-shot wet-out of large or complex structures, including those with different fibre architectures and varying permeability.
New assembly methods
In addition to enabling repair and breakdown processes, our material innovations introduce a new adhesive-free fusion joining method. This allows cured sub-components to be efficiently shipped to deployment locations or stored indefinitely until required. Once assembled, localised heating can be applied to activate the fusion surfaces, forming the final composite assembly. This process can be completed without the need for an oven or autoclave.

Predictable failure modes
The application of our materials in damage-prone regions has demonstrated the ability to produce predictable failure envelopes and propagation patterns without compromising mechanical properties. This predictability prevents damage from spreading into critical areas of a component while facilitating repeatable and robust repair operations.
